The intent of design is to create a quiet, relaxing environment as a contribution to the healing conducted at the center. The images in the composition relate to nature and growth. The composition is organized in a rectangular grid system to relate to the design of the architecture. The window also serves as a gateway to the Norton Hospital complex in downtown Louisville and so portions of the design are seen from the exterior by the reflective qualities of the dichroic glass.
