The fifty-two glass fins that rise forty feet above the roof of this thirty-two story building are composed of 3/4" heat strengthened laminated glass with holographic films incorporated within the PVB interlayer. In addition, dichroic glass is laminated on the exterior surfaces.

The laminated glass made it possible to create a work that was both distinctive as well as structurally sound enough to withstand hurricane force winds. It was because of these properties of laminated glass that the building is visually appealing as well as a dynamic presence on the downtown skyline, which can change continually throughout the days and seasons.
