Early in the design of the project, the architect asked that we assist in the planning for the proposed glass mural. We consulted with the designers on the technical aspects as well as the selection of the artist, Jennifer Bartlett. We collaborated with Jennifer by interpreting her paintings into glass, which were informed by the education we provided about glass techniques.

The work is located along the main concourse in the window wall facing the runway, and is viewed from two levels. It is constructed as an insulated unit with the artwork located in the air space. Many of the techniques were used so the work could be appreciated from both the interior as well as the exterior.
