The San Jose Police Station, is illuminated by LED lights from behind which are controlled by motion sensors. The motion sensors read the movement of people through the building and activate the LED lights correspondingly. The support system was designed and fabricated by AGA. Stainless steel standoffs are carried by stainless steel tension cables with adjustable swage clevis fittings connected to the attachment plates, which allow the glass wall to move independently from the building in the event of an earthquake. The image pattern of the glass wall represents the city and surrounding hills of San Jose.
