The chapel window, composed of leaded antique glass with painting and sandblasting, contains two figures. A male image derived from a Gothic sculpture is painted in black and is visibly prominent during the day. At night with reflected interior light, the image of a female dancer becomes apparent.

The theme of the window centers on Christ as a symbol of the universal dualities. Christ depicted as male/female, stone/flesh, day/night, static/fluid. The design also documents the emerging role of women in the Episcopal Church at the time of the commission.
