From meetings with the client came the decision that these windows represent the Passion of Christ’s death. For this reason, the windows express a tension and angst. The red coloration is symbolic of the blood of Christ and the intensity of the emotion associated with this event, while the bright yellow represents the presence of the spirit. Overlaying the red field is a painted pattern of a woven cloth representing the shroud that was placed over Christ after his death.
