The upper level corridor leading to an outdoor balcony overlooking a river was given a sense of drama with a cast glass floor. Using a standard texture (CG 113), which is reminiscent of rippling water, and cast with blue glass, the appearance and effect of water was created to anticipate the view from the balcony. The cast glass was laminated to create a safety glass, secure for walking.
